Teddy Sheringham believes that the Republic of Ireland would be playing at the World Cup in Qatar if both Jack Grelish and Declan Rice still played for the Irish national side. Both players were born in England but have relations from Ireland. They both played underage for Ireland, but both decided to represent their country of birth. Grealish played U17, 18, and 21 for Republic, while Rice played in 2018 for FAI Young International Player of the Year.
