Texas A&M vs. Tennessee kickoff time, TV information announced

The kickoff time and TV information for the Oct. 14 game between Texas A&M and No. 22 Tennessee was announced Monday. The Aggies will face the Volunteers at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn. at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS.

A&M has played Tennessee only once in Neyland Stadium since joining the SEC, but it came during the COVID-restricted 2020 season. The Aggies finished their regular season with a 34-13 victory over the Volunteers in that December game.

Under second-year coach Josh Heupel, Tennessee has found immediate success. The Volunteers finished 11-2 last season and won the Orange Bowl 31-14 fashion over Clemson. They also are 4-1 to start this season.

Tennessee lost on the road against Florida, 29-16, on Sept. 16. But the Volunteers have since bounced back with home victories over UTSA (45-14) and South Carolina (41-20). They are off this week.

A&M (4-1, 2-0 SEC) will return home to play No. 11 Alabama (4-1, 2-0) in Kyle Field at 2:30 p.m. Saturday (TV: CBS). The Crimson Tide are 2.5-point betting favorites as of Monday morning, per BetOnline.

Before facing the Crimson Tide, the Aggies will hold their weekly press conference Monday. A&M head football coach Jimbo Fisher and four of his players – defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson, offensive tackle Dametrious Crownover, tight end Max Wright and wide receiver Ainias Smith – will answer questions from reporters, beginning at approximately 11:30 a.m.

GigEm247 will provide live updates throughout those interview sessions. For readers who are not able to watch each interview in real time or follow our live updates, GigEm247 will embed the video from each interview into a separate story.
