Live updates: Texas A&M football coach Jimbo Fisher, three players speak with media before game vs. Auburn

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M head football coach Jimbo Fisher and three of his players – quarterback Conner Weigman, offensive lineman Mark Nabou Jr. and defensive end LT Overton – will answer questions from reporters during their weekly press conference Monday, beginning at approximately 11:30 a.m.

A&M (2-1) will begin SEC play with divisional foe Auburn (3-0) in Kyle Field this Saturday (11 a.m. on ESPN). Per Bet Online as of Monday morning, the Aggies are 8.5-point betting favorites over the Tigers.

Over the weekend, A&M bounced back from its 48-33 loss to Miami with a 47-3 stomping of Louisiana-Monroe in Kyle Field. Auburn remained undefeated under first-year coach Hugh Freeze after crushing Samford, 45-13, last Saturday.

Expect Fisher and his players to cover a variety of topics related to the matchup. Fisher also could be asked about the updated status of the key contributors who did not receive time vs. ULM or permanently left the game with injuries.

Four Aggie starters – safety Jardin Gilbert, cornerback Tyreek Chappell, center Bryce Foster and wide receiver Evan Stewart – did not play against the Warhawks. Two other starters, receiver Noah Thomas and right tackle Chase Bisontis, permanently left the ULM game with undisclosed injuries.
