The Chicago White Sox will make the 15th overall pick in 2023
The Chicago White Sox will be drafting 15th overall in the 2023 Major League Baseball Draft. The league conducted a draft lottery for the first time ever. Minnesota Twins won the lottery and will have the top-five picks. Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, Washington Nationals, and Pittsburgh Pirates won first overall. Kansas City Royals dropped a few spots. The draft order is reverse order of the standings. It is up to the scouts and front office to find the right players. They can't project the players they might take. For the White Sox, it's surprising that they didn't win a top six spot in 2022.
