The winter World Cup is better than its summer version
This year's World Cup was different from previous ones because of the time of year and the staging of it. From 10am to 7pm, almost daily, there was football on the TV. I was pleased for Messi as he followed Pele and Diego Maradona as the world's most celebrated footballers to have won the World cup. I pray Messi will continue to play until the summer of 2026. FIFA chief Gianni Infantino will be the star of that year. The 2022 World Cups will take place in Qatar. 2036 will have a full-blown prairie production across three plains.
After 2026, the focus will turn to the Centenary World Cup in 2030. Morocco are in the frame to stage the finals for the first time. FIFA may consider a winter World cup. The final could kick off Christmas week. The winter tournament is better than the summer one.
