Three talking points from the Premier League weekend

Liverpool lost 2-1 at home to Leeds. The defeat leaves the Reds with an eight-point gap to bridge to the top four. Arsenal and Manchester City remain out in front. Chelsea were the other big losers on Saturday as Graham Potter was thrashed 4-0 at Brighton.

Leeds beat Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday. Liverpool's poor form continues. Leeds ran 11 kilometres more than their hosts. Jurgen Klopp's team are 14 points behind the title. A return to the Champions League via a top-four finish is unlikely.  Lincoln came so close to an unprecedented quadruple last season. They need to limit the damage over the next two weeks to limp towards a much-needed break for the World Cup.

Lisandro Martinez has impressed for Manchester United despite his small height. He has formed a solid partnership with Raphael Varane. United have kept five consecutive clean sheets at Old Trafford.

Brighton fans and players booed Graham Potter after his return to the Amex Stadium. Chelsea's defeat to Brighton was Potter's first as the Blues manager. The Blues are now six points behind the top four and 10 behind Arsenal.
