Thursday Football Accumulator Prediction

Real Madrid vs Barcelona

singleSelection

Real Madrid will host Barcelona in the first leg of their two-legged Copa del Rey semifinal. Thursday’s match will be the third El Clasico of the season, as Spanish football fans get to see five El Clasico matches in total this campaign.

Madrid won 3-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu when the teams faced off in La Liga earlier this season. Barcelona returned the favour with a 3-1 victory in the Supercopa de Espana final in January. The winner of the tie between Madrid and Barcelona will face either Osasuna or Athletic Bilbao in the final.

Real Madrid are unbeaten in four straight games in all competitions. They are fresh off a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid in the Madrid Derby. Real Madrid’s last two matches in all competitions ended with both teams scoring goals.

Barcelona were shocked by Almeria at the weekend, 1-0. The team also lost top scorer Robert Lewandowski to a hamstring injury. He is expected to miss the match versus Madrid. Two of Barcelona’s last four games in all competitions finished with both teams scoring.

The two previous El Clasico matches of the season ended with BTTS. Thursday’s match should also end with both teams scoring.

PSV Eindhoven vs ADO Den Haag

singleSelection

It is an Eredivisie versus Eerste Divisie match on Thursday in the KNVB Cup. Cup holder PSV Eindhoven will host second-division club ADO Den Haag at the Philipps Stadion for a quarterfinal showdown. PSV are six points off first place in the Eredivisie after the club sold two key players, Cody Gakpo and Noni Madueke, in January.

Manager Ruud van Nistelrooy will hope the team can at least retain the KNVB Cup at the end of the campaign. Eindhoven are unbeaten in three straight matches, with each of their last two games ending as wins.

ADO Den Haag are on a fantastic unbeaten run. The team is unbeaten in 11 straight matches in all competitions. Despite their excellent form, ADO are 11th in the Eerste Divisie and well off the promotion playoff places.

PSV Eindhoven are unbeaten in 20 straight matches in all competitions against ADO Den Haag. Sixteen of those 20 games ended as wins for the Lightbulbs. ADO Den Haag should trouble PSV Eindhoven on the night, but the reigning cup holder should pick up a win in the end. PSV have a home record of 14W-3D-2L. The win will put PSV back in the KNVB Cup semifinals.

De Graafschap vs Ajax

singleSelection

Ajax are coming to life at just the right time on the domestic front. After a poor start to the season, new manager John Heitinga has turned the campaign around. Now, Ajax are fighting for the Eredivisie title and could reach the semifinals of the KNVB Cup.

Standing in Ajax’s way of the final four are De Graafschap. The second-division club will attempt to shock the Dutch football world by knocking out last season’s Eredivisie champions. De Graafschap are 13th in the Eerste Divisie and are not troubling the promotion playoff teams. The Dutch club goes into Thursday’s cup quarterfinal on a two-match winning streak.

De Graafschap are in decent form ahead of Ajax’s arrival. They are unbeaten in nine of their last 10 matches in all competitions. Ajax have not lost domestically since September when AZ Alkmaar won 2-1. The Amsterdammers have been in good form in the Netherlands ever since, although it didn’t stop the club from changing managers.

De Graafschap and Ajax have not played a match since 2018-19. Ajax are unbeaten in 23 straight matches versus De Graafschap dating back to 1999. The Amsterdam club shouldn’t have any difficulty defeating De Graafschap once more on Thursday, as they progress to the final four of the KNVB Cup.

Ajax could play PSV Eindhoven, ADO Den Haag, Utrecht, Spakenburg, Heerenveen, or Feyenoord in the semifinals. The Netherlands’ biggest clubs are all still alive in the KNVB Cup, making it an exciting finish to the tournament.

Royal Antwerp vs Union St Gilloise

singleSelection

Royal Antwerp will host Union St Gilloise in the second leg of the teams’ Belgian Cup semifinal on Thursday. Big-spending Antwerp saw their early lead in the Belgium Pro League disappear around November. Now, Mark van Bommel’s team is in danger of leaving the Belgian Cup.

Union St Gilloise, co-owned by Brighton’s Tony Bloom, are one of the teams to watch in European football. Gilloise, from a small district of Brussels, are only in their second season of top-flight football in Belgium. Since returning to the Pro League, Union St Gilloise have been on an upward trajectory.

Union are on a two-game winning streak against Royal Antwerp in all competitions. Thursday’s match will be the third of the season between the clubs. The home team won all three games this season between the clubs.

The last two matches between Antwerp and Union finished with under 2.5 goals scored. Since the start of last season, Royal Antwerp and Union St Gilloise have met seven times in all competitions. Five of the seven matches ended with under 2.5 goals scored.

Six straight Royal Antwerp matches in all competitions finished with under 2.5 goals. Six of Union St Gilloise’s last nine games in all competitions ended with under 2.5 goals. Union go into the match on a two-game losing streak in the league. Results have waned since winning the first leg of the cup semifinal. Our betting tip is to focus on total goals with under 2.5 goals scored on Thursday.
