Timberwolves guard D'Angelo Russell says 'nothing changes' in contract year

D'Angelo Russell is entering his contract year with the Timberwolves. He didn't get a new contract. Russell and Laura Ivaniukas have a son, Riley Jonas Russell, born on Saturday. He will earn in excess of $30 million this season. The Wolves re-signed Rudy Gobert. They have changed their roster. There is a lot of buzz around the team. But Russell doesn't change his approach. "I'm going to work to get paid at the end of the year or whatever time may be. I'm the same dude, same guy, the Same approach and I am ready," he says.

Taurean Prince was arrested in August in Florida. He was stopped by police in Arlington, Texas, during a traffic stop. Prince is confident his legal issues will be resolved. President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly is not so sure.

Austin Rivers' favorite films are "Mighty Ducks" trilogy and "The Mighty Ducks 2". Rivers signed a contract with the Timberwolves.

Karl-Anthony Towns is not taking part in Monday's media day due to a non-Covid illness.
