Tipsheet: Correa gets Giants contract, Swanson next in line for massive deal

Dansby Swanson is a free agent shortstop. He played for the Atlanta Braves and the Minnesota Twins. Carlos Correa signed a contract worth $350 million for 13 years with the Giants. Chicago Cubs are interested in signing him. The team is rebuilding. It recently signed Willson Contreras.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have spent a lot of money recently. They have lost a number of players. The team has a good amount of young talent. It is not the time to buy. The Dodgers are looking for a player to replace Trea Turner. If they do, they should look for someone like Swanson. He could play a variety of positions.

Correa is an All-Star shortstop. He will be the face of the San Francisco Giants. The contract is manageable. Correa will help the Giants keep pace with the Dodgers and Padres. The Twins didn't want to sign Correza. They wanted to offer him a position of assistant coach/assistant general manager. It's not possible. Arizona is a team that is going to be competitive in the American League East. . The Diamondbacks are a division rival. There are no teams that are going anywhere.   The Giants will have plenty of room left to work with if another star falls into their lap.
