Tired Canadiens Headed Toward Yet Another Difficult Month
Montreal Canadiens had a difficult December. They earned just 10 of a possible 30 points. Head coach Martin St-Louis says they are tired because of the travel and schedule. The Habs have the most difficult strength of schedule of all NHL teams. This month they play 14 games, including 10 games at the Bell Centre. Most of their Western games are against teams in the playoff position. The last time the Habs played the Senators they lost by a score of 3-2. Montreal has a 7-9-0 record at home this season. Their opponents include Nashville Predators, New York Rangers, Seattle Kraken, Winnipeg Jets, Florida Panthers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, Detroit Red Wings, and Ottawa Senators.
