MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks

Zach Eflin OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-134 FanDuel Sportsbook)

Zach Eflin squares off at home against the Miami Marlins this afternoon. Eflin enters today's start with a 3.33 SIERA, 25.7% K%, and a 10.9% SwStr%. His reform in Tampa has been fun to watch. It's incredible what this organization does with arms year to year. Eflin has struck out six or more hitters in nine of his last 15 starts.

The Marlins own a 21.9% K% this season against right-hand pitching. The thing that intrigues me the most is the matchup with Eflins splits. Over the last 30 days, Eflin has a 31.4% K% against right-hand hitters. The Marlins will send six righties to the plate today, giving Eflin all he needs to beat his K prop.

Bryce Miller OVER 5.5 strikeouts (+122 FanDuel SportsBook)

Bryce Miller has started to blossom in front of our eyes into the prospect he was in the minor leagues. He enters today's start with a 4.06 SIERA,  23.5% K%, and an 11.0% SwStr. Miller will float right around five to six strikeouts per game. The matchup with Minnesota and the juice of +122 make this a no-brainer bet.

Miller gets an elite matchup tonight against the Minnesota Twins. The Twins are one of the worst teams in baseball against right-hand pitching. They own a 27.6% K%. They also own a 108 wRC+, .324 wOBA, and a .424 SLG. There is a risk in this line with the over being set at 5.5, but the matchup is elite, and the juice is also.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks

SGP Kyle Tucker + Chas McCormick to record a hit (+130 DraftKings SportsBook)

Over the last few weeks, I provided you with some hit parlays. Honestly, it's been a blast betting and has been very profitable. I will make this a constant theme in my articles for the rest of the season. I like giving you guys different looks on how to bet instead of writing up the everyday props like always. You can always take either of the two guys below for their total bases prop to get a better line.

Andrew Heaney will get the ball for the Rangers against the Astros. Heaney has a .244 BAA and a 4.41 SIERA on the season. Over his last six starts, he allowed five or more hits in five of those outings. Heaney has allowed a .204 BAA against lefties this season and a .252 BAA against righties.

Kyle Tucker is the best left-handed bat in this lineup against left-hand pitching. I usually wouldn't attack Heaney with lefties, but Tucker is not only the best lefty lefty hitter in the big leagues, but he hits lefties better than most right-hand hitters. He has a .361 AVG against the split this season. Tucker has a hit in 11 straight games and has 18 hits in that span. Chas McCormick is scorching hot. He is hitting .338 on the year against lefties, which leads the Astros right-handed bats. He has a hit in ten of his last 12 games, including 16 hits.

Chas McCormick has been unreal lately.

June: .869 OPS, 103 PX, & 93 xPX
July: 1.137 OPS, 193 PX, & 198 xPX

Another productive game on MON with a career-best 6 RBI in a single game.
