Top 10 NBA 6th Man Of The Year Candidates

The 2022-23 NBA season has reached the halfway mark. Tyler Herro won the award last year after averaging 20.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists off the bench. This year's 6th Man of the Year is expected to be closer with multiple candidates in line to take home the honour.

Denver Nuggets sophomore Bones Hyland is averaging 13.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in 21 minutes off the bench. Hylands scored a season-high 29 points against the Dallas Mavericks in a 98-97 win back in November.

Christian Wood is a contender for the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award. He is averaging 18.0 points and 8.1 rebounds and has 2.8 blocks per game since starting a starting role. Dallas Mavericks are 7-1 when he starts next to Luka Doncic.

Bobby Portis is a Milwaukee Bucks forward. He is averaging 14.1 points and 10. 1 rebounds per game. Porti is first in rebounds off the bench and first with double-doubles off of the benches.

Bogdan Bogdanovic is a contender for NBA Sixth Man of the Year award. He is averaging 16.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game off the bench. The 30-year-old is reportedly a target for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Malik Monk is a candidate for NBA Sixth Man of the Year award. He is averaging 14.1 points per game off the bench for the Sacramento Kings this season. The team is currently 21-18 and has the fifth-best record in the Western Conference.

Bennedict Mathurin is averaging 17.1 points and 3,9 rebounds off the bench for Rick Carlisle's side this season. The 20-year-old is also a contender to win Rookie of the Year alongside Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero. MathURin has 15 games with 20+ points this year.

Norman Powell is a candidate for NBA Sixth Man of the Year. He is averaging 15.5 points per game in 25 minutes on 47% shooting from the field and 39% from outside the arc in the last 28 games.

Malcolm Brogdon is a candidate for NBA Sixth Man of the Year. He is averaging 13.4 points per game and is in the top ten for three-point percentage this season.
