Top MLB No Runs First Inning (NRFI) Odds, Picks & Predictions (9/3)

It's a busy day for sports. There's UFC card in France this afternoon, all five major European soccer leagues in action, the return of college football and a 15-game MLB slate. My focus is still on baseball. I've listed my top three No Runs First Inning bets for today.

The Rays won the first game of their three-game series with the Yankees 9-0 last night. New York's divisional lead has shrunk to 5.0 games. Clarke Schmidt will start for the Rays this afternoon. Corey Kluber will go for Tampa. The game starts at 6:10 p.m. ET. Schmidt has a 2.89 ERA and 1.34 WHIP over 37.1 innings of work this year. Klubers has posted three straight quality starts, including a 12-4 win against the Red Sox.

Yankees are playing against Rays.

Edward Cabrera will start for Miami against Atlanta. Jake Odorizzi will go for the Braves. The game starts at 7:20 p.m. ET from Truist Park. Miami has lost five straight games and are 1-7 in their last eight. Atlanta is trying to close the gap with the Mets in the division. They have gone just 1 -7 against Cabrera in his career. They are 27th in team batting average and OPS. Their opponents are hitting just .137 against them on the road.

Marlins are playing against the Braves.

Madison Bumgarner is starting for the Giants against Arizona Diamondbacks. Corbin Burnes is the starting pitcher for Milwaukee Brewers. The game starts at 8:10 p.m. ET. Bumi is coming off a bad outing against the Phillies. Burne is on a tear this year. He's 16-10 in his starts this season. Arizona is 4-19 against him. He holds Christian Yelich and Andrew McCutchen to a .269 batting average.

Brewers are playing against Diamondbacks.
