Toronto Blue Jays 2021: Scouting, Projected Lineup, Season Prediction

Toronto Blue Jays won't be as good as they were in the previous season. Bo Bichette, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Cavan Biggio, and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. remain the guts of the team. Teoscar Hernandez's emergence as an MVP-caliber force will be closely watched for regression. George Springer, Kirby Yates, Marcus Semien, among others, are free-agent additions.

Last year's Blue Jays won the World Series. Charlie Montoyo finished third in the voting for AL Manager of the Year. Dante Bichette became a hitting whisperer for the team. Robbie Ray signed an $8 million contract.  Kevin Cash of Tampa Bay Rays won AL MVP. He was voted by his close friend Cito Gaston in 1993. The Blue Jay's are a team with a lot of young talent. They don't strike out much and they run well. Their bullpen is tough. It's Rafael Dolis or Jordan Romano as a closer. Tommy John surgery is a possibility.
