The Tour de France gets underway on Friday. The peloton will pass through four countries before concluding on the Champs-Elysees on Sunday, 24 July.
Tadej Pogacar is the overwhelming favourite for the Tour de France. Ben O'Connor came fourth in the general classification on his Tour debut last year. Aleksandr Vlasov is another contender. Ineos Grenadiers rider Filippo Ganna is a contender for stage success. Romain Bardet is on the fringes of the GC battle. He hasn't won a Tour stage since 2017.
