The Atlanta Hawks play host to the Portland Trail Blazers at the State Farm Arena on Friday night.
The Portland Trail Blazers have been struggling lately as they’ve lost four of their last five games overall and they will be eager to avoid a third straight defeat after getting beaten by the Pelicans in a 121-110 loss on Wednesday. As a team, the Hawks shot 46 percent from the field and 13 of 35 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in control when they built a eight-point lead in the fourth quarter, only to allow the Wizards to close the final 7:59 on a 23-12 run to fall short in the end.

The Trail Blazers have really struggled to keep their heads above water despite Lillard’s best efforts and it’s because they’re defense as really struggled with all the injuries piling up. The Hawks are coming into this one as the team in better form and they should be well-rested as they haven’t played since Tuesday. The line is a little hefty in this one, but I think the Hawks take care of business at home in this spot.
