Georginio Rutter has completed a £35.5m move to Leeds from Hoffenheim. Leeds are currently 14th in the table. Jesse Marsch has already brought in one player as centre back Maximilian Wober from Red Bull Salzburg. The American tactician has bolstered his attacking ranks as well. Rutters has signed a five-and-a-half-year contract at Elland Road.

Georginio Rutter has joined Leeds for the third-highest transfer fee in the club's history. He made 64 appearances for Hoffenheim since arriving from Rennes in February 21. The Frenchman scored 11 goals in 64 games. Rutters is ineligible to play in Wednesday's FA Cup third round replay with Cardiff City, but he may feature on Sunday, January 22 against Brentford.
