Tuesday’s Premier League Bet Builder tips: Hatters can extend unbeaten streak

The Premier returns in midweek after FA Cup interruption, with five games on Tuesday drawing the attention of punters across the country.

Title-chasing Arsenal travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest in the early kick-off at 7.30pm, Fulham host Sean Dyche’s Everton at Craven Cottage and bottom side Sheffield United can climb off the foot of the table if they win at Crystal Palace.

Luton host an in-form Brighton and the late kick-off sees high-flying Aston Villa host out-of-sorts Newcastle, and it is these two encounters that draws our focus for our latest Bet Builders.

Luton vs Brighton (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Bet 1: Draw

Both sides enter this fixture in decent form and Luton have looked more dangerous at Kenilworth Road than on their travels.

The Hatters have lost just one of their last seven in all competitions, with this defeat coming on home soil at the hands of Chelsea.

Brighton are unbeaten in six, winning and drawing three apiece, but the 33 goals they have conceded this season is higher than any side currently in the top half.

Bet 2: Over 1 goal in the second half

The Hatters scored a 92nd-minute equaliser in their last league game, while five of Brighton’s last eight league goals have been scored in the second half.

Twelve of the last 18 league goals scored at Kenilworth Road have come past the half-time whistle, so a fast start should not be expected in this encounter.

Bet 3: Joao Pedro to score anytime

The Brazilian has been in electric goalscoring form, netting seven goals in his last six games in all competitions.

This includes a hat-trick in his last outing in the FA Cup at Sheffield United, and he could get on the scoresheet again against a side with the fourth leakiest defence in the league.

Aston Villa vs Newcastle (Tuesday, 8.15pm)

Bet 1: Aston Villa to win

The Villans boast the best home record of any side in the league, with nine wins and one draw from their 10 games at Villa Park.

They will be expected to continue this fine form with victory over a Newcastle side that have lost four league games in a row, as well as owning the second worst away record this season.

Bet 2: Over 3 goals

A total of 20 goals have been scored across Newcastle’s last five games in all competitions.

There have also been exactly five goals in two of Villa’s last three matches, so a high-scoring affair is expected on Tuesday night.

Bet 3: Leon Bailey to score anytime

While Ollie Watkins has taken the majority of the plaudits for his fine form this season, his supporting cast from midfield have been equally deadly in front of goal.

Jamaican winger Leon Bailey has registered six goals and five assists in the league this season, so expect him to be involved in the final third and potentially bagging his seventh of the season.
