UCLA vs. Arizona State College Football Predictions: Week 10

No. 12 UCLA football will play Arizona State at Sun Devil Stadium on Saturday. The Bruins are 11-point road favorites. Arizona has won two out of its last three games.

UCLA has won 16 straight games against teams that finished .500 or below since Chip Kelly took over. The Bruins are 3-0 in such games this season. Arizona State is not a good team, but their defense has gotten better in four consecutive weeks. Dorian Thompson-Robinson has had success against Arizona state in the past. Arizona sate's interim coach Shaun Aguano has little chance of outdueling Kelly schematically. He has been outmatched against Dan Lanning and Oregon earlier this year. Kelly has gone head-to-head and won coaching battles against Kyle Whittingham, Kalen DeBoer and David Shaw in past month.

UCLA and Arizona State have split their six games in the desert 3-3 since 2010. The Bruins have plenty of pieces to stave off an upset attempt. Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Zach Charbonnet are the most important quarterback-running back duo in college football. UCLA held Stanford to 13 points last Saturday. Arizona is going through a rebuilding period.
