Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev will fight for the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Championship at UFC 282. The main event was supposed to be between Jiří Procházka and Glover Teixeira, but the former was injured and the latter refused a replacement fight. Jan Blachowicz is the current holder of the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. Magomed Ankalaev is a former WFCA Light heavyweight champion. He has won nine straight fights since his UFC debut. He knocked out five opponents and won the other four by unanimous decision.

Bryce Mitchell is undefeated in his MMA career and 6-0 in fights under the UFC umbrella. Ilia Topuria is unbeaten in 12 fights and won the 'Performer of the Night' award in April.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Chris Daukaus are going to meet on UFC 282’s preliminary card. Roenstruk has been inconsistent lately, going 2-4 in his last six fights and losing each of his past two. Daulausk has suffered back-to-back losses to Derrick Lewis and Curtis Blaydes.

Raul Rosas Jr. (6-0) makes his UFC PPV debut against Jay Perrin (10-6). Perr lost his last two fights by unanimous decision.

Edman Shahbazyan and Dalcha Lungiambula are going to meet at UFC 282. Shah bazan has lost each of his last three fights, including two by TKO. Lungami is also on a three-fight losing streak.

Chris Curtis (29-9) is taking on Joaquin Buckley (15-5) in the UFC 282 preliminary bout. Curtis lost his last fight to Jack Hermansson. Buckley is looking to get back to winning ways after losing to Nassourdine Imavov in September.

Billy Quarantillo and Alexander Hernandez are going head-to-head in a featherweight bout on the UFC 282 early prelims card. Quantarillo lost to Shane Burgos at UFC 268 and Hernandez lost at the last UFC event to Renato Moicano.

T.J. Brown is 2-3 in his last 5 fights and recently lost to Shayilan Nuerdanbieke. Erik Silva has won eight straight fights with four of his five wins coming via submission.
