UFC 282: Best Bets for Jan Błachowicz vs. Magomed Ankalaev and the Rest of the Card

Jiří Procházka's injury forced him to withdraw from the main event of UFC 282. Jan Błachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev will fight for the vacant title in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The paid portion of the Saturday show consists of five fights and will be carried by ESPN+ PPV at 10 p.m. ET.

Jan Błachowicz was the UFC's champion at 205 pounds in 2020. He was stopped by Aleksandar Rakić in May. Magomed Ankalaev has won nine straight fights and is 18-1. B/R picks Ankalova to win in the first round or on a decision.  

Paddy Pimblett is a +300 favorite to win by KO/TKO/DQ. Jared Gordon is -360. Gordon has been finished four times in 11 fights since arriving in the UFC. Jan Błachowicz is +250 favorite for his fight with Magomed Ankalaev. The B/R picks Paddy to beat Gordon by knockout.

Santiago Ponzinibbio is a loser in three of his last four fights. Robbie Lawler pulled out of the fight with an injury and was replaced by Alex Morono. Morano is 11-4 with a no-contest in 16 octagonal appearances since December 2016 and is on a four-fight win streak. Ponsinbibio has 15 career KO wins and none of six career submissions.
