In one of the most highly anticipated UFC fights ever, Volkanovski will look to join the elite and exclusive club of fighters who have held two belts in two different divisions simultaneously.  Across from Volkanovski stands Makhachev, heir apparent to Khabib Nurmagomedov as the figurehead of the next wave of Dagestani martial artists. Shockingly, this line is quite wide compared to other UFC 284 odds with Makhachev currently sitting as a -380 favorite while Volkanovski backers can get +320 on the pound-for-pound king.

Las Vegas thinks that the other title fight and co-main event will be a much closer affair with Rodriguez currently slightly favored at -165 to Emmett’s +140. This should be a super interesting fight, with both men entering the title picture off of unconventional wins. Emmett took a razor-close split decision over Calvin Kattar in his last outing while Rodriguez submitted Brian Ortega, although many fans will tell you this was just an Ortega injury and not a submission.
