The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns on Saturday with UFC 289 headlined by a women's bantamweight championship showdown between Amanda Nunes and Irene Aldana.

Nunes is the first woman to hold belts at multiple weight classes and is one of the most dominant champions in UFC history, which is why she is unsurprisingly a heavy favorite at -340.
Aldana is only 14-6 as a professional but has won back-to-back bouts.
However, she has shown vulnerability in her ability to be grappled onto the ground, which is part of why she is a +260 underdog.
UFC 289: Betting odds for Charles Oliveira vs Beneil Dariush
- Charles Oliveira vs. Beneil Dariush
Dariush is on a seven-fight win streak and has been clamoring for the opportunity to fight a more renowned opponent in the lightweight division.
Oliveira had been on an 11-fight win streak until he was submitted by Islam Makhachev his last time inside the Octagon, and now needs to secure another win to stop him from sliding down the division he once championed.
UFC 289 bets: Mike Malott vs Adam Fugitt
- Mike Malott (-215 ML) vs. Adam Fugitt (+172 ML)
Malott (-215) has only fought in the UFC 11 times but is 9-1-1 and has proven himself to be very sound defensively, which helps him stay out of trouble and frustrate his opponents, which ultimately leads to them making grave mistakes.
Fugitt (+172), a 6-foot-1 southpaw, is more active on the attack but is 1-1 inside the Octagon and is looking to make a climb in the welterweight division -- a win against a strong opponent would certainly help with that.
UFC 289 odds: Dan Ige vs Nate Landwehr
- Dan Ige (-260 ML) vs. Nate Landwehr (+205 ML)
Ige heads into fight night as a -260 favorite, though he only just recently snapped a three-fight losing streak.
Landwehr, on the other hand, has won three consecutive bouts. Both fighters are very dangerous grapplers and will most likely look to use that as their path to victory once the bell rings.
