UFC champion voices strong support for banned coach James Krause amid betting allegations

James Krause was banned from UFC events by the promotion and authorities due to betting allegations. Any fighters who continue to associate with the coach will also be barred from the UFC.

Brandon Moreno is the UFC flyweight interim champion. He began training with James Krause in March 2022. Krauses was suspended over betting allegations.

Shayilan Nuerdanbieke won the UFC Fight Night 214 bout against Darrick Minner by TKO. Miner had a knee injury. James Krause is a banned coach because of his betting activity. UFC implemented a policy in October that banned all UFC fighters, trainers, and managers from betting on any UFC fights.

James Krause's license has been suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission following investigations into suspicious betting activity. He has also been barred from participating in UFC events. Kraused is the head coach of a large and successful gym, Glory MMA and Fitness. Bellator CEO Scott Coker has released a statement in light of the suspension.
