UFC Fight Night 238 viewer’s guide for Rozenstruik-Gaziev: Odds, more

The UFC is back on its “Sin City” home turf Saturday with heavyweights at the top of the bill.

Here’s how to watch UFC Fight Night 238 with big men in the main event and light heavyweights in the co-feature.

UFC Fight Night 238 has a main card that starts early at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN+. The preliminary card streams on ESPN+ at 12:30 p.m. ET.

Jairzinho Rozenstruik (13-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC) started his pro career 10-0, including a dramatic win over Alistair Overeem and a 29-second KO of former heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski to put himself on the map. But it’s been tough sledding since former champ Francis Ngannou starched him in 20 seconds in 2020. That started his current 3-5 slide, which he’ll try to correct Saturday against slight favorite Shamil Gaziev.

Shamil Gaziev (12-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) is one of six unbeaten fighters on Saturday’s card. The Dagestani big man is just a slight favorite against Jairzinho Rozenstruik (13-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC), who will be, on paper, his toughest test yet. Gaziev made his way to the UFC through a first-round finish on Dana White’s Contender Series, and his promotional debut was a stoppage of Martin Buday.

Vitor Petrino (10-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) passed the first two tests the UFC gave him against opponents with a lot more experience than him flying colors – stoppages of Marcin Prachnio and Modestas Bukauskas in 2023. Against Tyson Pedro (10-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC), if he wants to win, he might want to make sure he gets out of the first five minutes. All 10 of Pedro’s wins have been first-round stoppages, including this past September’s knockout of Anton Turkalj – whom Petrino beat six months prior, but had to go the distance against.

Opponent: Umar Nurmagomedov (16-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC)

Key wins: First-round knockout of Victor Madrigal on Dana White’s Contender Series to get UFC deal
Misc.: Oliveira has 17 of 19 wins by stoppage, including 15 knockouts.

Record: 15-3
Opponent: Loik Radzhabov (17-5-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC)
