Underdogs Against the Spread: Best Week 13 G5 College Football ATS Picks

Thanksgiving is coming to an end. I'm thankful for being red hot with my picks, going 11-4 in the last three weeks and being 10 games over .500 for the season. Old Dominion fans were the only game I lost in Week 12. All four wins covered the spread by a touchdown or more.

The 2021 record of the Underdogs against the spread is 23-13.

Utah State Aggies are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 4 -1 against New Mexico Lobos.

Akron Zips are the underdogs against the spread against Toledo Rockets. The over has gone over in four of Akron's five games on the road this season and in five of the last seven between the two programs.

Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and Marshall Thundering Herd are playing each other. WKU is the nation's top passing team (394.3 ypg), third in yards per play (7.14), fourth in scoring (38.8 ppg) and 22nd in points (32.2 pPG). Marshall is 10th in passing offense (294. 3 yg), 17th on yards, 6.63 on the play and 21st in scores (34.4 pg). The total has gone over in 11 of Western Kentucky’s last 14 games and in six of the last seven meetings between the two Conference USA teams.

Tulsa Golden Hurricane is a 6.5-point favorite against SMU Mustangs. Tulsa scored the most points of their season in the win over Temple and SMu scored their fewest in their loss to Cincinnati. It's Senior Day at University Park, where SMUS are 6-0 ATS in last six games at home.

Tulane Green Wave are underdogs against Memphis Tigers. The Green wave are coming off a 45-point performance in a win over USF last week. Memphis has scored 13, 10 and 12 points in the three weeks prior. Both teams have gone under the total in four of their last five games.
