USF vs. Tulsa Prediction: Golden Hurricane Host the Bulls in a Matchup of Struggling AAC Teams on Friday Night

Tulsa Golden Hurricane will host the USF Bulls on Friday night. USf is 1-9 overall and 0-6 in the American Athletic Conference. The Bulls lost their eighth consecutive game last week to SMU. Head coach Jeff Scott and defensive coordinator Bob Shoop were both fired on Nov. 6.

USF holds a slight 3-2 edge in the series all time. Tulsa has won each of the last two meetings. The Golden Hurricane have lost six of their last seven games and are now out of bowl consideration.

USF plays Tulsa on Friday night.

Byrum Brown will start for South Florida against Tulsa. Tulsa's defense is ranked in the top 20 nationally against the pass, giving up just 185 yards per game. South Foursh Florida's rushing game is one of the best in AAC, averaging 180.4 yards. The Golden Hurricane defense gives up 211.6 yards against running.  Tulsa's offense is led by running back Brian Battie.

Tulsa's Davis Brin is injured and will start at quarterback against USF. Brins has completed just 55 percent of his pass attempts for six touchdowns and seven interceptions in his last six games. Tulsa's offensive line has allowed 42 sacks this season. USf's pass defense is ranked 124th in the country. The Golden Hurricane run the football with a committee approach.  Tulane's rushing offense is No. 95 in league.

Tulsa's offense has been struggling recently. USF's defense is one of the worst in the nation. Tulsa's quarterback, freshman Brown, will start his first game on the road. The Golden Hurricane are looking to avoid last place in AAC.
