VRC Kennedy Oaks Tips, Bets and Race Preview
Eleven three-year-old fillies will take part in the Kennedy Oaks on Thursday afternoon.
Pavitra is the one for me in this year's Oaks. She won in provincial New South Wales earlier in her prep and finished fifth in the Flight Stakes.
She's Extreme is the class filly in this year's Kennedy Oaks field. She's a touch underpriced at around the $2.70 mark. The Extreme Choice filli was excellent throughout her two-year-old campaign and she was rewarded with an impressive win in the Group 1 Champagne Stakes.
Zennzella won the Wakeful Stakes on Saturday. She is chasing a hat-trick when she takes her place in the Kennedy Oaks field. Snitzel filly ran third at Cranbourne last time and then won her second-up race.
No. 7 As Time Goes By is a maiden but she has plenty of upside. She can fight out the finish of the Kennedy Oaks.
