Wales 1-0 Bosnia & Herzegovina: Jess Fishlock hits extra-time winner as hosts progress in World Cup play-offs

Wales beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 1-0 in a tense match in Cardiff. Jess Fishlock scored the winner in extra-time. Wales will play in Switzerland on Tuesday before a potential inter-continental play-off in February. The next World Cup finals will be in Australia and New Zealand.  Bosnia are ranked 63rd in the world. Almina Hodzic made several saves for Wales. Natasha Harding was absent for the match. She made her Aston Villa debut last weekend. Gemma Grainger's side had the ball in their net four times before Fishock's goal.

The game will take place in five days. It will not be easy. Switzerland is a higher-ranked team. Bosnia showed the underdog mentality.
