Washington Capitals vs. Seattle Kraken: Date, Time, Betting Odds, Streaming, More

After a 7-2 setback last night the Washington Capitals are back in action tonight against the Seattle Kraken. Last night's defeat came to a tough Edmonton Oilers team and the Kraken are no easy opponent either in a stacked western conference.

It's another late nighter so make sure you have your coffee ready to go.

Tonight is the Caps third meeting at Climate Pledge Arena, home to the NHL's newest team the Seattle Kraken who are in the midst of that third season. The Caps weren't so lucky the first go around with a 5-2 loss in Nov. of 2021. They also fell short in overtime 3-2 so lifetime in Seattle the Caps are 0-1-1.

Darcy Kuemper got the start in goal last night and with this being a back to back I'd imagine Charlie Lindgren will get the nod. Capitals coach Spencer Carbery told the media after the game that he expects Aliaksei Protas to play. Protas was scratched last minute from the lineup due to a lower body injury.

Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post also noted on X that Mike Sgarbossa and Alex Alexyev could draw back in. With the playoff picture looking bleaker by the losses, the Caps are still going all hands on deck.
