Wasps follow Worcester in suspension from Gallagher Premiership
Wasps Holdings Limited is going into administration. The company has insufficient cash to continue to fund operations. Wasps have withdrawn their men's team from this Saturday's league fixture against Exeter Chiefs. Exterio chairman and chief executive Tony Rowe is saddened by the news. Wasp won the Premiership in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2008 and were crowned European champions twice. They fielded some of England's most well-known players during rugby union's professional era. Their 2003 World Cup-winning squad included five WasPS players.
