Canada face a key CONCAF Nations League showdown in Toronto up against Group C rivals Honduras on Tuesday.

John Herdman's side head into the final group match knowing they need to avoid defeat in order to clinch first place and secure a spot in June's semifinals in Las Vegas, where they would meet one of the USA, Mexico, or Costa Rica / Panama.

With an edge in the goal difference tiebreaker on Honduras (+5 vs. +1), a draw would be enough for Canada.

It was defeat away in Honduras in June 2022 that left qualification in the balance at the start of 2023, and Les Rouges need to avoid a slip-up on home soil, where the temperature will dip into the 30s Farenheit.

Canada vs Honduras prediction, odds

If Canada can avoid defeat in this game they will seal a spot in the Nations League semifinals in June, and Herdman will be confident that his team can get the job done in Toronto.

Despite losing the reverse fixture in San Pedro Sula, Canada won both of their home games across all competitions in 2022, and should be able to impose their will at BMO Field.
