Eric Cohen is a college football fan and a former sports radio host. He is also a season ticket holder of the University of Arizona Wildcats. Eric's column is about finding the best parlay bets by conference. The combined parlays of his favorite picks at the bottom of each week will be their lottery ticket.

Week 1 of college football is here. Ohio State hosts Notre Dame and Oregon travels to Atlanta to play Georgia. The winner of the CFP National Championship will be decided on the final game of this season. The parlays are based on Caesars Sportsbook's odds. All lines are from the week 1. This week's parlay is based only on conference parlies.

Louisiana Tech and Missouri are parlayed with Utah State and Alabama. Georgia State is parlayed with South Carolina.

Missouri and Georgia State are playing in the first game of the college football season. Missouri has a new coach Sonny Cumbie and a good defense. Georgia state has 15 starters from last season's team that went 7-1. South Carolina's new quarterback Spencer Rattler is on upset alert. Alabama will score 50-50 and pull its starters to give the Aggies a couple of touchdowns.

Game record was 0-0 last week. Conference Parlay record is 0 of 0 overall.

Purdue ML vs. Penn State, Colorado State vs Michigan, Notre Dame vs Ohio State and Notre Notre Ireland vs., are parlay picks for the weekend of September 3rd, 2022.

Parlay Odds: +786 (1 unit). I was bullish on Purdue in my conference futures column and I'm just the opposite on Penn State this season. I'll take the Boilermakers outright on Thursday night at Ross-Ade Stadium. Jay Norvell will make some noise at Colorado State, having moved over from Nevada. Michigan is a worthy top-10 team but they're not worth much against Purdue. Ohio State is my national championship pick. They're a two-score game against the Fighting Irish.

SportsLine's model has picked the best bets for SEC, Big Ten, ACC, BIG TEN, B1G, Pac-12 and SBC for the weekend of September 3rd, 2022.

Boston College / Rutgers under 48, NC State / East Carolina over 55, North Carolina / Appalachian State over 56.

Parlay Odds: +596 (1 unit). New year's bet: bet the under in as many Rutgers games as possible. Last year Rutgers' games went under 48 points. Six of BC's games did the same. I'm big on the Wolfpack this year. NC State has lost their last three road openers. UNC-App St. has the feeling of a game in which defense is optional.

West Virginia +7.5 at Pittsburgh, Central Michigan +21 at Oklahoma State,UL Monroe +37. 5 at Texas, and Pac-12 +3.

The Backyard Brawl is back for the first time since 2011. J.T. Daniels and Kedon Slovis are quarterbacking for different teams. Pitt is a team that I like to make waves this season. Oklahoma State only beat Missouri State by a touchdown last season and lost to CMU in the second game of the season in 2016. Texas might be able to beat Louisiana-Monroe by 50+ points.

Oregon +17 vs. Georgia, Arizona -46.5 vs Arizona State, San Diego State -45 vs SanDiego State and Utah -3 vs Florida.

Arizona and Oregon are playing their season opener on Saturday. Arizona is much improved on both sides of the ball. Oregon's new coach Dan Lanning comes from Georgia. Florida will be improved under new head coach Billy Napier. Utah's offense is back and they should beat Florida by a touchdown or so.
