Week 5: Group of Five Best Bets
Last week I made 2-3 on Group of Five Best Bets. My overall record on this season's best bets is 15-10. Hurricane Ian made landfall earlier this week. Weather will impact games this weekend.
Middle Tennessee is 3-0 after beating Miami. UTSA is the better team and has won three consecutive games in the series. The Blue Raiders are a team capable of winning Conference USA.
San Jose State is 2-1 after beating Western Michigan last weekend. Wyoming is 3-0 after losing to BYU. San Jose won the last meeting 27-21 last season.
SMU is going to cover 3.5 points at UCF. The game will be played on Sunday because of weather. UCf's best win was against Georgia Tech, which just fired its coach and athletic director.
Old Dominion is 2-0 at home this season and 6-2 at their home field. Liberty is 6th in the conference and could be without a couple of starters.
