Middle Tennessee vs. Liberty Prediction, Betting Odds & How To Watch

Liberty is one of the few undefeated Group of Five teams left. But the Flames don’t have an easy game coming up.

Middle Tennessee (2-5, 1-2 Conference USA) will play at Liberty (6-0, 4-0) at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday at Williams Stadium in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Here’s more info about the game.

Liberty is a -14.5 college football betting odds favorite against Middle Tennessee, with the Over/Under being 54.5.

The moneyline for Liberty is -650, while it’s +475 for MTSU.

The MTSU-Liberty game will be televised on CBSSN.

I’m picking Liberty to win and cover the spread at -14.5. I also am predicting the game will go Under 54.5 total points.

The Flames are playing at an incredibly high level right now, having just won at Jacksonville State by 18 points last week. I think they’ll continue that momentum against a Blue Raiders team which has been outscored 130-94 in their last four contests.

I like Middle Tennessee’s defense, which is why I think this game won’t quite get to 55 points or more. But I think Liberty, led by quarterback Kaidon Salter, will ultimately win by more than two touchdowns.
