Glenn Otto and Adam Oller were high school teammates. They both graduated from the same school. Otto was called up from Triple-A and made his season debut on Friday. He pitched five innings, allowing three base runners and striking out five. Rangers won 8-1. It was Otto's first win in the big leagues. It might be the best starting pitching performance the Rangers have had this season. Manager Chris Woodward thinks Otto might stay in their rotation. Last season, Lucas Giolito and Jack Flaherty were teammates at Harvard Westlake High School in southern California. The two pitchers were starting pitchers for the Cardinals.
