What do the New York Rangers do with Vitali Kravtsov?

Vitali Kravtsov has been playing sporadically for the New York Rangers this season. The head coach called him the team's thirteenth forward. Krautsov is a promising player but he doesn't play well enough defensively. He has just one assist in nine games. There are going to be a lot of interest in the Russian winger. He could be sent down, loaned back to the Kontinental Hockey League, placed on unconditional waivers for contract termination, or reinstated to play in a top-six role. If he gets back into the lineup, he should play as a fourth-line player.
