What does each Premier League club need this January transfer window?

The January transfer window opens on Sunday 1 January. Several Premier League teams are looking for new players following the World Cup. Liverpool are set to sign Qatar forward Cody Gakpo. Arsenal are aiming to sustain their Premier league title push. Newcastle, Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea may recruit to galvanise their top-four bid.

Arsenal are interested in signing Mykhaylo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk. Aston Villa are also interested. Bournemouth may be more active in the January transfer window. Brighton are in good position and won't be bullied in this transfer market. Brentford are waiting to find out if Ivan Toney will be banned for the whole season.  

Jesse Marsch is looking for a forward to keep Leeds up. Cody Gakpo is on his way to Liverpool. Leicester are interested in Morocco midfielder Azzedine Ounahi. Liverpool made the first big move of the January transfer window by agreeing a £37m fee with PSV for Cody. Manchester United are also interested. Jude Bellingham is a central midfielder on everyone's lips. Liverpool are short of cover in the full-back positions. Erik ten Hag needs a striker. He is unlikely to buy a top striker in January. RB Leipzig and Croatia defender Josko Gvardiol are being linked with Liverpool and Manchester City.
