The Plate Handicap Chase is back on day three of the Cheltenham Festival 2024 – and last year’s edition was a cracker!

Outsider Seddon, priced at 20/1, delivered a dominant display to claim victory, two lengths clear of Fugitif and Shakem Up’arry, to secure a first win at the Fez for trainer John McConnell and rider Ben Harvey.

There are 17 fences are to be jumped over 2m4f of the New Course at Cheltenham, with the contest open to horses aged five years old and older, with a whole host of familiar names from this season’s Paddy Power Gold Cup and December Gold Cup likely to take their chance.
