Rugby league is not popular in Ireland. Rugby union is the most popular sport in the country. There are a few players from the Super League playing for Ireland, but none of them are at the top of the game. The last two World Cups have not seen Ireland progress beyond the group stage. City of Armagh have a huge passion for rugby. They are represented at U18, U16, and U14 level in various leagues. Their club was nominated for Ulster Club of Year in 2014/15. It won the All-Ireland League and Ulster Senior League. Its team finished as runners-up in All Ireland League in that year.
