Who are the favourites to win the 2023/24 Champions League?

We take a look at the latest betting odds for the Champions League, including best prices for Manchester City to go back-to-back at Wembley in June

The Champions League returns this week

As the 23/24 season is now well and truly underway, it’s about time that Europe’s greatest teams from the previous season collide in a tournament that never fails to encapsulate the best of the best that European football has to offer.

The Champions League Group Stage is now upon us and it is interesting to see who the bookmakers expect to progress beyond this stage of the tournament.

Current champions Manchester City have been handed a particularly kind draw, which should allow them to progress to the knockouts with relative ease. However, European newcomers Newcastle United have their work cut out for them as they are placed in this year’s ‘Group of Death’.

Even the early stages of the tournament feature games that match up the heavyweights of the cup. Games such as Napoli vs Real Madrid (Group C) and Manchester United vs Bayern Munich (Group A) are amongst the games that are undoubtedly blockbusters.

Who are the favourites to win the Champions League?

Manchester City are 9/4 favourites with the bookmakers to retain their Champions League crown at Wembley on Saturday 1st June.

Pep Guardiola’s side lifted the trophy that had, for so long, eluded them by beating Inter Milan 1-0 in Istanbul. Last year’s treble winners are five from five in the Premier League, having scored 14 goals and conceded just three.

Manchester City - 9/4

When reviewing the latest 2023/24 Champions League odds, current champions Manchester City are the clear favourites to win the trophy back-to-back, best priced at 9/4 with various bookmakers including Sky Bet.

Bayern Munich - 11/2

Second favourites and 2019/20 Champions League winners Bayern Munich are best priced at 11/2 (various bookmakers) to win the tournament. The acquisition of England captain Harry Kane has most certainly bolstered their chances of European success this season.

Real Madrid - 17/2

The European specialists Real Madrid (14-time winners) are currently best priced at 17/2 with LiveScore Bet to regain their European crown after falling short to the champions last season. Madrid will undoubtedly be seeking revenge this time out.

Arsenal - 11/1

Returning to the Champions League for the first time since 2016/2017, Arsenal are fourth favourites to win the tournament, currently best priced at 11/1 on Unibet.

Barcelona - 14/1

Barcelona’s resurgence under Xavi sees them given a best price of 14/1 (various bookmakers) to win a trophy they haven’t managed to claim since 2015.

PSG - 16/1

Paris-Saint-Germain are best priced at 16/1 on bet365 to lift a trophy that has forever eluded the club, being one of the only trophies they have failed to win in recent history.
