Why do the Reds continue to allow Phil Castellini to speak?

Phil Castellini is the speaker at the Rosie Reds luncheon today. His father owns more of the Cincinnati Reds than any other owner. Phil Castelini's dad owns the team. He is a manager and a business owner, but he doesn't like the players union and guaranteed contracts. He would have been fired after Opening Day in 2022 if his father weren't Bob Castilini. The other owners are Bob, Phil and the Williams brothers. They have the three biggest ownership shares of team and Phil's father has the biggest share. Their salaries are enormous. It's not a charity. it's a company.

Luke Weaver posted a 6.56 ERA as a reliever last season. The Reds are going to give him a chance to be a starting pitcher in 2023. Phil Castellini is wrong to say the team is bad because of cutting payroll by $35M from last year and nearly $60M since several years ago.
