Reds: Former GM Jim Bowden's free agent prediction is laughable

Jim Bowden suggests that the Cincinnati Reds should sign Michael Fulmer. Fuler is a relief pitcher who has a good track record. The contract he would sign for the Reds would be for three years at $39M. That's $13M a year for a reliever who wouldn't be the team's closer. The Athletic contributor is not paying attention to baseball. He should be paying more attention if he's talking about the New York Yankees or the Los Angeles Dodgers. If he wants to play with Bob Castellini's money, he should spend it on an outfielder.
