Wilfried Zaha Next Club Odds: Arsenal and Tottenham expected to battle for his signature I BettingOdds.com

Wilfried Zaha is often a large part of the conversation during the Summer transfer window and this time is no different as he’s reportedly looking for a new test away from Crystal Palace next season.

Now it’s unsure whether he prefers a move to a league abroad or if he wants to remain in the Premier League, but if the reports are anything to go off, we can confidently say that he sees his level above the likes of Palace and on to one of the top teams.

With the transfer window rapidly approaching, we’ve taken a look at the odds for his potential move in the upcoming window.

Arsenal have been linked with Zaha on a number of occasions and even with the Premier League title still on The Gunners’ cards this season, they do need to further bolster their attacking options and Zaha is a Premier League-proven player who could add some serious firepower to their attack.

The top clubs have often been put off by Zaha’s price tag as Crystal Palace have demanded north of £70m for the Ivorian’s signature, however, this time he’s potentially coming as a free agent as his contract expires this summer.

It’d be a no-brainer for Arsenal to try and get Zaha on a free as he’s clearly expressed an interest in joining them in the past. They’ve also proved they are a team more than capable of fighting for the title and with some squad depth, they could make another challenge next season.

Spurs have also been linked with the Crystal Palace man for this upcoming window and it could be a signing that makes perfect sense.

Spurs have always proved to be very frugal in the transfer market and a free deal for one of the better forwards in the Premier League absolutely screams Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs could potentially be without Dejan Kulusevski next season as his loan will be coming to an end and he will return to Juventus.

If Juventus are asking for too much money for him or refuse to let him go, Zaha could be a great backup option for Tottenham.

Zaha has proved he can play on the wing and down the middle similar to Kulusevski and with the £0 price tag he’s currently got, they should take this chance before anyone else does.

Borussia Dortmund were reportedly interested in Zaha a couple of seasons ago and they come in as a 10/1 shot to sign the 30-year-old this summer.

It’s a bit of a longshot but Dortmund are known for doing good business and a player like Zaha could definitely shine in the Bundesliga.

Zaha has mentioned he is open to a new challenge and the Bundesliga could be a great option. Dortmund have remained competitive in the league throughout this season and with some of Bayern’s squad getting on the older side, next season could get a little spicy!

Dortmund are never ones for spending big cash so a free transfer for Zaha could end up being a great signing.

Speaking of new ventures, you can get Zaha to join any Italian club at 12/1. AC Milan have previously been reported to have a serious interest in the forward and clubs like Inter Milan have also been mentioned.

Zaha would probably relish the opportunity to play in the Serie A and you’d think with the league being less competitive, he would have a pretty successful career over in Italy.

If AC Milan step up their interest and can’t quite convince Rafael Leao to stay, Zaha would definitely fit the team like a glove.

Others

There have been many other teams mentioned in the betting at various prices.

Newcastle, West Ham and Leicester all feature and have reportedly been keeping tabs on him.

I think if Zaha is to move away from Palace he wants a serious step up and not a team like West Ham or Leicester. Newcastle are probably going to aim a little higher than the soon-to-be 31-year-old with their unlimited budget but stranger things have happened.

Crystal Palace are apparently set to offer Zaha a Crystal Palace record-breaking contract of £200k a week which could be all he’s after in all honesty.

Many clubs will definitely be enquiring about him but if Palace offers a sum of money like that, he may just retire at the club.
