Transfer Odds: Five Moves That Can Still Happen I BettingOdds.com

The transfer market has slowed down a bit in the last week and with most of the news coming from Saudi Arabia, things around Europe have been rather quiet. With us coming to the end of the transfer window we’ve taken a look at five potential moves that could still happen along with the odds for each move.

Tottenham have looked to strengthen their squad after Harry Kane’s departure. It’s no doubt that the England Captain leaving will leave a huge void in the Tottenham squad and they’ve reportedly been very active in the transfer market since receiving a big fee for Kane.

The latest to be linked with a move to Tottenham is Crystal Palace’s Eze who has been a key target for Ange Postecoglou. The Tottenham boss is said to be very interested in the player and with the club having some spare funds due to the sale of their main striker, they’re reportedly set to offer £34m to Crystal Palace to tempt the youngster over to Tottenham.

With this news his odds to join Tottenham have been cut to 2/1 which should fill Spurs fans with a bit of hope.

Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid

The Kylian Mbappe saga continues as PSG are reportedly open to negotiate with Real Madird but have slapped a £250m price tag on the forward. It’s no secret that Real Madrid are all over Mbappe but this price tag is just too much for them.

Real Madrid were hoping to wait until next year for Mbappe but PSG are refusing to lose him on a free transfer, and that’s fair enough, that’d be some terrible business if they let one of the best players in the world leave for free. Madrid would presumably pay a decent fee for Mbappe but with it being this late in the transfer window, PSG will need to lower their expectations.

Paddy Power have gone as short as 2/1 for Madrid to sign Mbappe before the end of the season and if a fee is agreed, expect this deal to move quickly.

Liverpool have needed to strengthen their midfield for a while now and whilst signing Mac Allister and Szoboszlai was a good start, losing Fabinho and Henderson has left a big gap in the midfield.

They’re reportedly interested in Man City’s Kalvin Phillips to fill that void. It’d be crazy to see two Premier League rivals working together on a deal but this is rumoured to only be a loan move to help get Phillips’ career back on track, a you scratch my back I’ll scratch yours kinda deal.

The bookmakers have made Liverpool the favourite destination for the City midfielder if he is to depart this season and it’s a signing that I’m sure Klopp would more than welcome.

Dusan Vlahovic to Chelsea

Chelsea have been incredibly active in the transfer market as usual and with Lukaku seemingly on his way out of the club, Chelsea are looking to bring in a solid striker to go with their plethora of attacking talent.

Dusan Valhovic’s future at Juventus has been questioned many times this window and with the transfer market coming to a close soon, many clubs have asked about the Serbian’s services for this season. Chelsea are currently the ones leading the betting to sign the striker and if they can somehow offload Lukaku, they’ll be going straight for Vlahovic.

The current reports is that Lukaku could go to Juventus and Vlahovic could leave Juventus to join Chelsea, but after fans protested the signing of Lukaku, that isn’t looking likely anymore. Juventus reportedly want £34m + a player to sign Vlahovic and Chelsea remain the most interested.

Speaking of, Lukaku’s future at Chelsea is completely up in the air. No one really knows what’s happening with Lukaku next and he could even end up staying at Chelsea. But ever since Harry Kane left Tottenham, the odds for Lukaku to join Chelsea has been backed in from 12/1 to 5/4 and it would make perfect sense.

Tottenham are missing their big man up top, Chelsea want to get rid of Lukaku, Spurs have the funds from the Kane sale and Lukaku has experience in the Premier League. It’s a signing that arguably makes too much sense, but do Spurs want to blow all of their budget on Lukaku? We’ll see, one things for sure, he’ll get Tottenham plenty of goals throughout the season and has even gone goal for goal with Kane in the past
