Women’s World Cup 2023 odds – Golden Glove

  • Alyssa Naeher (United States) @ 7/2
  • Mary Earps (England) @ 9/2
  • Misa Rodriguez (Spain) @ 5/1
  • Merle Frohms (Germany) @ 6/1
  • Zecira Musovic (Sweden) @ 10/1
  • Pauline Peyraud-Magnin (France) @ 10/1

Earps has earned her stripes

The Lionesses’ Earps only established herself as her country’s No 1 in the lead-up to the 2022 Women’s European Championship but is now the 9/2 second favourite to win the Golden Glove at this year’s World Cup.

The Manchester United player’s performances were recognised in Fifa’s The Best Awards last summer as she was named best goalkeeper.

With England the second favourites for the tournament, it is no surprise to see Earps behind the Americans’ Naeher in the Golden Glove betting.

The 35-year-old is 7/2 to win the award in Australia and New Zealand. At the 2019 World Cup in France, she conceded only three goals as her side retained their crown.

Naeher missed out on the Golden Glove four years ago to Sari van Veenendaal, of the Netherlands, who was a beaten finalist and has since retired from the game.

Spain are also among the favourites for the tournament and their keeper Misa Rodriguez is the third in the Golden Glove betting at 5/1.

Germany’s Merle Frohms is just behind the Spaniard at 6/1 after helping Wolfsburg reach the Champions League final in the domestic season.

The Golden Glove winner often plays for a country that goes far in the tournament. Sweden’s Zecira Musovic and France’s Pauline Peyraud Magnin are also among the frontrunners at 10/1.
