World Cup 2022: The club team-mates who could decide the quarter-finals

This year's World Cup quarter-finals will see international footballers face off against each other. The players who could decide the quarter finals are their club team-mates.

Luka Modric and Vinicius Jr could meet in the World Cup 2022 quarter-finals. They are team-mates at Real Madrid and Brazil respectively. They could decide the quarter finals. It would be fitting if Vinicsius could bring the curtain down on Modic's international career.

Nathan Ake and Julian Alvarez are going to play each other in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar. Louis van Gaal's team are unbeaten in their four games and have conceded just two goals. Julian has played all three positions for Argentina so far. Nathan Ake has had an efficient tournament for Manchester City.

Morocco and Portugal are playing in the World Cup 2022 quarter-finals. Romain Saiss and Ruben Neves are former team-mates. They will meet on Saturday afternoon.  Saiss played for Wolves for six years. Neve played in Portugal's 6-1 win over Switzerland.

Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris are Tottenham team-mates. They are going to play each other in the World Cup 2022. France and England are playing each each the other on Saturday night. Loris has made two saves in his first three appearances. Kane has three assists at Qatar 2022, while he scored his own goal against Senegal last Sunday.
