World Cup: The Players With the Most World Cup Appearances
The players with the most World Cup appearances are revealed. The last World cup was in 1998. Erling Haaland has played in three World Cups since 1930. The players who have played at least once at a World Championship are: Zlatan Ibrahimović, Christiano Ronaldo and Messi.
Grzegorz Lato was part of Poland's golden generation that won gold in the 1972 Summer Olympic Games in Munich and finished third in 1982 World Cup held in Spain. He made 404 appearances for Poland, scored 45 goals and featured in 1974 World, 1978 World and 1982 tournaments.
Philipp Lahm is the first German on our list. Laham started playing football at the age of 11 and played for Bayern Munich Junior Team. He made his debut for the German senior team at 20 and has played 113 times for Germany.

Miroslav Klose has made 24 World Cup appearances. He made his debut in 2002 and scored twice in 33 minutes. Klosse made 137 appearances for Germany, scoring 71 goals. He is the manager of Austrian Bundesliga club Rheindorf Altach.
Lothar Matthaus has played 25 times for Germany. He was captain when they won the World Cup in 1990. Matthau played 150 times in total for the German national team. He scored four goals in the 1990 World cup.
