PDC WORLD darts champion, “Bully Boy” Michael Smith

PDC WORLD darts champion, “Bully Boy” Michael Smith, will be in the Goalpost sports bar and beer garden in Tullamore  on Monday evening  next,  December 4.

This event in the Goalpost in Tullamore is 10 days before Michael Smith defends his title in the Alexandra Palace in London.

Last year Michael Smith beat “Mighty Mike” Michael Van Gerwen in an epic final. It was a brilliant final that had what the darting world describes as the best leg of darts ever! Michael Smith hit one of the hardest things to do   in darts, a 9 Darter finish. But what made this leg of darts an epic leg of darts was after six darts each both players were on nine dart finishes.

Both players had hit two 180’s each. Michael Van Gerwen had 2 more perfect darts but missed the double 12 for the 9 Dart finish and Michael Smith stepped up and with three more perfect darts took out the 9 Dart finish sending the Alexandra Palace into party mode. Many Darting analysts including Sky Sports commentators John Part and Wayne Mardle calling it the greatest ever leg of darts. The lads in the Goalpost are hoping to see something special like this Monday next, 4th December.

The William St hostelry is proud to play host to the champion for what should be a very entertaining and unforgettable occasion.

Tickets for the evening can be purchased on  ticketstop.ie  or direct from the Goalpost itself.

VIP tickets are €30 and this allows punters an early audience to meet and greet the champion  at 6pm.
