World Darts Championship 2022/23: Dates, schedule, format, prize money and betting odds
The 30th edition of the World Darts Championship is heading for the 3,200-capacity Alexandra Palace at the end of 2022. Around 80,000 fans are thought to have seen the action in north London in 2021. Scotsman Peter Wright won the championship for second time in that year.
The World Darts Championship will begin on December 15, 2022 and finish on January 3, 2023.
World Darts Championship 2022/23 is scheduled for GMT.
The World Darts Championship format is best-of-seven sets, quarterfinals are best of nine sets and the semifinals best off 11 sets. The final is the best out of 13 sets with the first player to take three legs winning.
The winner of the World Darts Championship will receive £500,000, with the runner-up receiving £200,00. The total prize fund is £2.5m.
